Day Facilitating at The Rayleigh Lectures

Writer: Mark O'NeilMark O'Neil

Another great event from the The Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs at which I was delighted to help facilitate group discussions with my fellow Freeman for the Rayleigh Lectures with some inspirational year 12&13 students at the beautiful Drapers Hall.

Well done to the planning team headed by Ben Martin

Fascinating lectures included using Data from Space to predict catastrophic events, intelligence gathering to assist with UK defence, space based solar power(within 5 years and sounding like a bond villains wish list).

Immediate past master Mark Huxley FRSA did a great job standing in for a stranded presenter to talk about predicting earthquakes using AI and the wider impact of AI and satellite data for managing insurance risks and keynote from Prof Paul Davies on using meteorological data to predict extreme weather plus much more.

And seeing the Red King!
